Spiders are not insects, but closely related animals with eight legs instead of six. There are a wide variety of spiders with some found indoors and some found primarily outdoors. Some spiders will bite, and the black widow and brown recluse spiders are venomous and harmful to humans. Most outdoor spiders are beneficial because they feed on insects, but become a problem when they either create webbing on buildings or move indoors during cold weather. Spiders can be found in virtually every part of a building, creating a nuisance as well as fear that they may bite and/or be venomous. Call a professional to assist with your spider problems. |
