For nearly 30 years, Scott Robbins has been a steady, respected, and influential presence in Indiana’s pest management industry. A native of Vincennes, Indiana, Scott spent 24 years with Action Pest Control and later TruGreen, specializing in the 7A and 7B categories. During those years, he built teams, mentored professionals, and earned a reputation for integrity and technical expertise. Never one to remain complacent, Scott later transitioned into fumigation — embracing new challenges with humility and determination. Today, with Douglas Products, he continues to contribute at the highest level of the profession.
Scott’s value has never been defined by a job title or license category. His impact comes from leadership, depth of experience, and a commitment to raising the standard of the industry wherever he serves.
Service to the Industry
Scott’s dedication extends well beyond his professional roles. He has served for many years on the Indiana Pesticide Review Board — a Governor-appointed position requiring thoughtful decision-making, balanced perspective, and a commitment to both public trust and industry advancement. In that role, Scott consistently provided a real-world industry voice delivered with professionalism and respect.
Within the Indiana Pest Management Association, Scott is a Past President and longtime contributor. He has worked alongside state regulators, including OISC and Purdue University’s Department of Entomology and Urban Entomology programs, helping strengthen collaboration between industry and academia. His leadership has consistently elevated IPMA’s credibility and influence.
